PROMISES.....

Why do we even try to make them....especially to ourselves? It has been over a month since my last post and I don't have much to report. Same old....study, study, clinical, clinical, study, test, and then from the beginning again (sounds like a song).

School is almost over (well sort of, I have decided to take a summer class). I will be celebrating my last clinical on May 9th!!! Party. Then graduate on the 12th. I still am pinching myself. Bob keeps telling me that I'm sharper than he has ever seen me (I can't imagine what I was like before, since I feel totally unhinged now). I have been able to land a job, but will be driving a little over an hour to get there. It is at the Tomah hospital dialysis unit. I am actually excited about that and looking forward to it. I am still awaiting my starting date (hopefully I will have a few days vacation before settling in to the working life again).

I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to all of you out there that have had to put up with me over the last year as a student. I did realize that Bob was harder on me about homework than he ever was with the kids, but he has also helped out more than ever. The encouragement I've received from my wonderful kids has been very needed and appreciated. I love you all and understand now more than ever what it is like for you in school. To my friends thanks for your time even if it was not at a good time for you, but for me. All the hugs are still holding me up!

THANK YOU EVERYONE! I know I am not the easiest of people to live with, but you all hung in there.

PS ROBERT WAS PUBLISHED AND HIS BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED JUST LET ONE OF US KNOW AND WE'LL ORDER YOU A COPY.
