Food Boxes

What an interesting day! First call this morning was from Barb....Almost in a panic at the grocery store! Did you know that there is no longer a receive for lasagna on the box for noodles? Well now we do. Did I have the recipe? Well no not exactly....I don't cook with them.... Just cook to taste! What to buy? Noodles, cheese (various kinds), tomato sauce and spices....I'm sure whatever she did turned out great!

Then 2nd call for Laura.....Did I know that the recipe for Rice Krispie Squares with butterscotch and peanutbutter was not on the bag or the box? Well no but it is 1 C PB 1/2C Butterscotch and 6C Rice Krispies....Melt PB and chips and mix in cereal let set and eat.

Maybe I should put out a recipe book of all the recipes I've found on boxes over the years. Why would a manufacturer take a good thing off their product? I don't know, but the book is a thought. I'll get on that in my spare time.
