Pressure!!!!

Ok, ok! I got the email and get the point! Yes, I know that Barb is the queen of busy, but she has had years of practice in the balancing thing, I have only had to balance life with kids, husband and friends. Now I've added school. Sorry to those of you who really do read my blog. I was extremely busy putting together my case study on patient JB. Did my presentation on Friday (power point and all!) and I think it was great (if I do say so myself).

This weekend was designated laundry weekend by Bob (I still have clean undies). He gets really cranky when he has to look for clean things to wear. Ok, I can't remember the last time I washed clothes (I think it was 3 weeks ago). Well, I just finished my 3rd load and with it only being 2 of us know, I actually am done. The laundry is pretty scanty when I wear scrubs 3 times a week. One week to go until Spring break and I can't wait.

February has been an extremely hard month in the dialysis center with the loss of 5 patients. The staff has informed me that it is fairly normal this time of the year. I guess I know now that I will be taking off for the month of February in the future! Actually I think I would miss being gone that long as I have made many great friends.

Bob and I plan on spending some spring break time in the Milwaukee to catch up with family, but I made him promise me that I would be home by Friday and that Friday, Saturday & Sunday were just for me! It amazes me how selfish I have become with my own time. Sorry to all of those who I have not had time for this year, but it will get better. Well that is if I don't decide to continue on with my studies. I have grown to somewhat like it, but Bob says that you don't get paid to be a professional student, so school will just have to be part-time. Can you believe that he actually thinks that I should support him for awhile??? What's up with that? No one told me that after my kids were gone I would have to mother my husband. How long till he grows up to be on his own? No really, he has been great through all of this and I don't think I would have done it on my own. Who would have said "Did you finish your homework?", "Should you be watching TV?", "What did you get on your test?", "I guess you should have studied more" etc. I must apologize to the kids for all my nagging while they were students at home. Was I that bad?

Well, I have to go watch TV now. Thanks to the Serious Blogger who sent the email to get caught up.

Now that you have your blogging done, you can go watch tv.

You're doing great, Mom. School is almost finished. Then the real work begins, right?
