2 DAYS IN A ROW....MARK THE CALENDAR!

Wow....what a treat...or not?

I need some imput, I just received word that if I want to I could continue with my studies in the nursing program beginning next fall if I achieve an 18 or better on the ACT.......

To those of you who were able to achieve that do you honestly think I could be coached to do the same? (Remember it took coaching for me to pass the Math section of the Compass exam on my 2nd try) Or is it time to work and take a break? Word has it I could do it in 2 semesters + 1 class this summer (so I could also work alot this summer and maybe save for fall?) What should I do? I've not been this confused since my first child arrived without a manual!

BE HONEST! I CAN TAKE IT

Hmm. I think you could do it. The thing you will have to work at is the timed test thing. They ask enough questions to put some time pressure on you. I have no doubt that you have the apptitude to answer the questions - it will be a matter of the time limits. Ask in your career services department if they have any of the old exams. Take one of them timed and see how you do. For most of those tests they will publish old versions with an answer key so you can score yourself. Good luck... I am so proud of you!

The truth comes out.... Well, I got a 22 on my ACT, and I must tell you I was NOT PREPARED! I actually forgot about it, and I still remember you waking me up HUNG OVER to take the ACT that Saturday morning. I think you can do it... question is, do you really want to be a nurse? You could work with me and deliver babies if you had your RN and that would be AWESOME! Also, can Dad take you being in school for another year?

I think you'd be fine on the ACT. I got a 29. Some of that must have come from you. Even Brad says that you'll be fine. Take it!
